Adidas has officially unveiled the 2023-24 season special edition Oktoberfest jersey in collaboration with Bayern Munich Football Club. This unique jersey features a vibrant floral pattern throughout, reminiscent of the club’s new second away kit for the upcoming season, but it is presented in a refreshing green color as a tribute to Munich’s famous beer festival, known as “Wiesn” in Bavarian dialect. “Wiesn” translates to “meadow” in Bavarian and is derived from the Theresienwiese, the original and current location of the Munich Oktoberfest.

As always, the inner collar of the new Oktoberfest jersey is adorned with alpine edelweiss, a symbol of the Munich Oktoberfest, along with the inscription “Wiesn 2023.” The jersey prominently features the club crest, Adidas logo, and sponsor’s branding in white on the chest.

This jersey is crafted from 100% recycled polyester fibers, showcasing Adidas’s ongoing commitment to tackling plastic waste.

Both the men’s and women’s teams of Bayern Munich will don this special edition Oktoberfest jersey in matches on September 15th. The men’s team will face Bayer 04 Leverkusen, while the women’s team will take on SC Freiburg.
